Victoria Harris
Solicitor
Victoria graduated from the University of East Anglia with a First Class Law degree before going on to complete a Masters Degree in Employment Law at Kings College London.
Victoria has been practising as a solicitor for 12 years during which time she has specialised solely in employment Law. Victoria commenced her career at a large regional firm before moving on to another regional practice where she set up their employment law department.
Throughout her career Victoria has acted for employers and employees and enjoys the opportunity of working with a variety of clients from junior employees through to senior execs and start up businesses through to PLC's. This means that on any one day Victoria can be advising on issues involving discrimination, unfair dismissal, maternity entitlements and the redundancy process as well as managing tribunal litigation, drafting contracts of employment and negotiating severance packages.
Victoria recognises that an employment dispute can affect the health of an employee and the productivity of a company. Victoria's approach is to identify her clients objectives and work tactically to achieve the best outcome in the shortest possible time while keeping a close eye on costs.
Victoria lives in Hertfordshire where she looks after her young son and two elderly cats. In her spare time she follows the (mis)fortunes of Queens Park Rangers.
